Shannon is a Registered Nurse with a background in Cardiology, Pre/Post Anesthesia care, and Emergency settings. She graduated Valedictorian of her accelerated nursing program (what, like it’s hard?) in 2016 and has since pursued advanced certifications in pediatrics and cardiac life support. Shannon obtained her Medical Aesthetic Injector certification from CORE Aesthetics and uses her acute care background as the anatomical and physiological foundation for her injectables practice. She loves blending science with art and providing creative, custom solutions for her patients’ needs. Her journey from sorority girl (Gamma Phi) to wife to mother led her to aesthetics and injectables as a way to reclaim her own confidence, and her favorite part of working in aesthetics and at Beauty Refined is helping her clients restore their own love for the person they see in the mirror.

Outside of her nursing career Shannon is a wife and mom of two toddlers, plus one Goldendoodle. She loves Bravo TV, strong skincare products, and the color pink. Follow her on IG @shots_by_shanny
