Annette Wychgram
Annette has always had a passion in the nursing profession. She studied in Denver, and then attended Colorado State University and graduated with her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing in 2008. She worked as a Medical Oncology Nurse at Swedish Medical Center in Denver. After several years as a Registered Nurse, she decided to pursue her passion of becoming a Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Regis University’s Family Nurse Practitioner Program in 2013. Since obtaining her Nurse Practitioner degree, she has worked as a Hospitalist, Neurovascular, and Peripheral Vascular Nurse Practitioner, serving various hospitals in the Denver area.
Understanding that prevention is key in any aspect and care of life she enjoys educating her patients on prevention, and improving and maintaining healthy functional lives. She applies these same foundations to the skin care industry. While working in the acute care setting, she attended the Aesthetic Skin Institute, completing her initial training on performing aesthetic injectables. She started up and founded Beauty Refined in 2015 and managed this growing practice as well as working in acute care medicine. In fall of 2018, she decided to fully focus and expand on her growing practice, Beauty Refined. Most recently, in March 2022 she completed a Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine. Always wanting to bring her patients the most recent technology and advanced techniques she believes that continuing education is critical in expanding her skills. Along with her recent fellowship, she has accepted a position with Galderma GAIN, and Prollenium as a national injector trainer. She is thrilled to share her knowledge and skills with new colleagues in the industry. She believes when one can teach it only strengthens their own skills on how they are able to perform. She is driven to deliver a natural looking appearance, always educating her patients on treatments and products to stimulate natural collagen / elastin production, with the goals of keeping everyone looking more healthy, youthful, and more confident. Annette is known for doing subtle and natural looking enhancements that bring out your best features!

Avery Holt
Avery has always had a love for all things beauty and skin. Getting into the world of Aesthetics was an easy decision. Avery has been a cosmetic dental assistant for over five years. She is excited to bring this professionalism and detail-oriented mindset into all things beauty. She attended the School of Botanical and Medical Aesthetics in Denver, Colorado. Her top goals are client relationships and providing the very best care possible. She is excited to pursue her passion as a Licensed Aesthetician and will always bring you the most current and advanced treatments possible. Shannon Martens
Shannon is a Registered Nurse with a background in Cardiology, Pre/Post Anesthesia care, and Emergency settings. She graduated Valedictorian of her accelerated nursing program (what, like it’s hard?) in 2016 and has since pursued advanced certifications in pediatrics and cardiac life support. Shannon obtained her Medical Aesthetic Injector certification from CORE Aesthetics and uses her acute care background as the anatomical and physiological foundation for her injectables practice. She loves blending science with art and providing creative, custom solutions for her patient’s needs. Her journey from sorority girl (Gamma Phi) to wife to mother led her to aesthetics and injectables as a way to reclaim her own confidence, and her favorite part of working in aesthetics and at Beauty Refined is helping her clients restore their own love for the person they see in the mirror.

Madeline McGee
Madeline is a board certified Nurse Practitioner from Nashville, TN. She grew up in the Smoky Mountains in East TN, then moved to Nashville where she attended Vanderbilt University and completed her Master’s. Madeline has been in Denver since 2016, and has practiced for 7 years in family medicine and private practice. Her aesthetic training and certifications were obtained through Esthetic Skin Institute, as well as private trainings with Annette Wychgram, owner of Beauty Refined.
Madeline has always had a passion for health, wellness, and preventative medicine, and feels it is important to incorporate this in your personalized goals for your skin health as well! She does like to specialize in “mountain aesthetics,” promoting skin care and preventative aesthetics for the outdoor enthusiast, to obtain natural glowing results.
Madeline is a wife and mama to a new baby – Brooklyn, and Bernese Mountain Dog – Brunnen. If she is not in the office, you can catch her in the mountains hiking, camping, off roading, or snowboarding. Oh – or enjoying Après at the lodge!

Johanna Hamilton
Johanna is a board certified primary care nurse practitioner with ten years of experience in the medical field. She is originally from Alabama and attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham for both her BSN & MSN degrees. She has a background in Trauma & Burn ICU nursing and in Gastroenterology as a Nurse Practitioner.
Johanna has always found joy in helping others feel confident & beautiful; so she began pursuing a career in medical aesthetics in 2019. She and her family relocated to Denver two years ago to further pursue this passion. Johanna completed her initial training through Aesthetic Medical Educators Training and since then has attended numerous continuing education opportunities. She regularly attends trainings in order to provide the best techniques, treatments options, & outcomes to her patients. Some of her favorite trainings include Tom Van Eijk Academy, Injection Anatomy with AmSpa, and she is excited to continue learning with Annette at Beauty Redefined. Johanna believes that physical & mental wellbeing are delicately connected and that when you look your best, you also feel your best. Heather McBryde Gilbert
Heather McBryde Gilbert is a certified physician associate (formerly known as a physician assistant) with a passion for aesthetics. She prides herself on being a perfectionist, dedicated to delivering the highest quality of aesthetic care. She believes in enhancing your own natural beauty while helping you age gracefully – inside and out. Her comprehensive knowledge of anatomy allows her to perform safe procedures and deliver natural results.
Heather’s work background includes: facial plastic surgery and cosmetic aesthetics, internal medicine, neurology, and, sports medicine. She is extensively skilled in top techniques for injecting BOTOX, XEOMIN, JUVEAU, DAXXIFY and DYSPORT and well as JUVEDERM, RHA, SCULPTRA, PRP/PRF and a wide selection of other dermal fillers, in addition to performing non-surgical procedures like laser skin resurfacing and micro needling.
Heather is a proud CU Boulder alumnus where she earned her bachelors degree in Integrated Physiology. She earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Practice from Campbell University. After graduation she completed a diplomate fellowship with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
